A peel off base coat is perfect for those of you who love to change your nail colour frequently.

A peel off base coat is different to a regular base coat. Its main feature is that it should* easily peel off to make removal of nail polish super simple.

But this also means that wear time isn’t going to be as great as your regular base coat.
If you’re getting 1 to 3 days of wear with a peel off base coat, then you are doing well. Peel off base coats are more of a short term solution for when you want to wear a polish that is hard to remove.

HOW TO USE
For best results ensure your nails are clean and dry.
Apply 1-2 coats of peel off base coat ( we do not recommend wrapping your tips at this stage )
Allow to fully dry then apply your desired nail colour followed by top coat ( wrap your tips! )

REMOVAL
When it is time to remove your manicure, lift up one edge of the polish gently using an orange stick or something similar ( please don’t use a metal cuticle pusher for this task ) and gently peel off from one side to the other. If you peel from the cuticle line to the tip of the nail, it may cause peeling of the natural nail, especially if you have dry / brittle nails.

*Peel off base coats are not for everyone and some experimentation on how to best use the product may be necessary. If you have issues with removal, you may need to try using thicker ( or maybe even thinner ) coats of the base coat.
If you experience dryness or peeling of the natural nail when using this product, it may not be for you :(

my new favorite product!

Never knew it existed before (relatively new to the nailpolish world) but this is a revelation: no more acetone needed. Holds realy well too.

This might be user error, but I didn't love it

This might be user error so I'm giving it 3 stars for now....but my nail polish would not dry after using this base coat. I've never had a problem with my QDTC and even with other EDM polishes, and the only thing that was different was using this base coat.

Left it to dry for a few minutes, it felt dry? IDK, I'll have to try again at some point but it's going in timeout for now. 😅

Works like a charm

I’ve used this base coat twice with great results. First use was for a glitter-heavy mani, got 2.5 days out of all but one nail, including 1 shower. Second use was for a nail art mani that I wasn’t sure I was going to like, also lasted 2.5 days through 2 showers and heavy use of my hands (dish washing, food prep with gloves) - lost one nail about 18 hours in but was able to restick it. In both uses, I didn’t need any acetone to remove polish, it worked just like the description says, and didn’t damage my nails at all.

Quick drying and clean peeling

I've had a lot of trouble getting peel off base coats to actually peel but this works beautifully! Dries quickly despite being thick enough to double as ridge filling.

loving it so far, i didnt cover the full nail and i havent gotten any accidental lifting/peeling yet!

Essential for my long-ish wear, easy removal press-on nail gluing method.

Great for short term manis

I love this base for testing out new polishes that I’m not sure that I’ll love. It dries quick and peels off easily after a couple days

Works for the most part

I think the peel off base coat works decently. I applied one coat and had some difficulty removing the polish so I applied two coats and my polish started falling off on its own in just two days. I find that the polish is easy to remove until you get to the nail line and then it becomes difficult. I have to use polish remover. I’m still glad I purchased it and am still playing with it to find the perfect application method.

Fantastic peel-off base!

Love this base coat. It's not gluey or white, dries quickly, and does the job. The only downside is that it does peel really fast, sometimes only an hour or two after the colored polish is applied. But overall, it's great. I recommend using one thick coat of basecoat so that it's easier to peel.
