like everything i've tried from EdM, this polish is even more complex and nuanced than any pictures do justice to (btw i appreciate the pics across the shop are true/honest, legit helpful for me). on me this is a bit "browner"/warmer as well as darker (which is true for literally every red pink or purple polish i've tried anywhere, so not surprising), but when light hits it just so and the purple shows brightly it's so gorgeous! per description the colorshift's not as wide a spectrum but is very noticeable! the amount of shimmer's just right, enough to be special and mysteriously captivating but not so blingy as to make one feel vaguely little kid (which i personally appreciate). formula's a breeze to apply, smooth and highly pigmented so didn't take a zillion coats. great customer service too. i'm a huge fan of this shop!

Much more red/burgundy in person than I expected. I'd give it five stars if I didn't already have a few similar shades. But the formula is really something special, it's so smooth and rich.
